2018 China Summit of PrOBIota
PrOBIota is a group of microorganisms that are claimed to provide health benefits when consumed. The introduction of the concept (but not the term) is generally attributed to Nobel laureate Élie Metchnikoff, who postulated that yogurt-consuming Bulgarian peasants lived longer lives because of this custom.

2018 (4th) International Conference on Gut MicrOBIota and Health
Due to metagenomics sequencing and intestinal organoid culture, studies on gut micrOBIota appear one after another in recent years. Researchers hope to provide important theoretical foundation on the association between gut micrOBIota and diseases as well as the regulation of human health by studying the species of these organisms and their relationship with humans.
